Unusual Lake Rosseau Boathouse

It is great that we have such diversification in architecture around Muskoka. Especially on the water front. You can find this one near the Venitian islands on Lake Rosseau. You need to be careful navigating around this area as its very shallow.

Lovely!!!! So much nicer than the new cookie cutter boat houses you see on the lakes.

I grew up running up that ramp and flinging myself off that roof.

Hi Max – does that property have a name or do you have any history you could share. It is a very unusual looking place and I’m curious how it came to be.
    – thanks Ed

the locals know that as kaley’s cut. the wake that that poor boathouse gets is something. I sometimes wonder how come it is still standing. working across from that place. in the spring of the year the ice is usually pushed in there and through the “cut” or channel
