Un-McMansion
A humble little abode tucked into a quiet bay on a Muskoka Island. Its perfect for a Hollywood actor, his actress wife and family who have a long history of enjoying the summers here. Not all Celebs in Muskoka are staying in McMansions. Many are very low key and down to earth people enjoying the lifestyle and the natural beauty of the area just like the rest of us.
On another note, the fall colours are starting to kick in. I would estimate that we are at about 30 to 40% of peak.
I saw their cottage in House and Home a few years back and I loved how simple and ‘normal’ they kept it. I got the sense that they really “get” the spirit of the area and of cottage life. Whoever the owner is they have a great place, in a great place.
I think I saw this cottage recently listed for $4.4M. Nice little humble abode. It comes with 18 acres.
Harry Hamlin and Lisa Rinna are selling this place. We walked around it this fall, and it’s got loads of history. Great peace of property.
