Henshaw Lake in Muskoka
I took over 100 new photos last weekend and my CF card crapped out on me. Thanks to the data recovery software I got them back. Henshaw Lake on #118 towards Port Carling . Some of the smaller lakes are freezing over. You don’t dare walk on them yet though.

I like this shot very much Ed. That little touch of red on the sumachs at the front is the perfect touch of colour! I am glad you were able to recover your photos! I don’t know Henshaw Lake – don’t go Port Carling way very often!
Great photo Ed…so peaceful and calm…but yes…stay off the ice!
Thank goodness for modern technology…it would have been sad not to be able to recover your photos!
Cheers
Heather

Our family has been enjoying Henshaw Lake since 1968. We love the beauty of the land and the lake. What an amazing picture.

Hi there, I don’t know if anyone still monitors this site as the last comment was in 2012. I found this picture and love it. I would like to ask the owner of it for permission to use it on our Happy New Year Card for this coming year and give proper photo credit. Please have some contact me. My sincere thank you!
Hello Iris – the Blog is still very active. I have sent you an email with regards to the use of the photo. Thanks for checking in.
