Forgotten
I noticed this old farm house on the way up to Muskoka and just had to stop and take a few shots. There is always so much character in these long forgotten farm homes. Its a shame they just wither and die like this.

What a cute little house it must have been! The surroundings look amazing. If you have a chance, you should take more pictures from a different angle! Thanks!
I began to feel the same, then decided that all of us have our time, and then move on. I took a walk on the wild side yesterday. Human-made things fall apart and die. Hopefully, the forest will renew itself.
I just wish I had the time and the money to adopt every single one.
I have also noticed how many of these “abandoned” houses in Muskoka still have folks living in them. I’m sure that many people drive by these places in the summertime and think ‘gee, what a lovely old home, it’s a shame that this happens to these old homes’ …. but drive by in the winter and you’ll see smoke coming out of the chimneys. Proof positive that Muskoka is not just for the rich. Many people actually still reside in some of these homes.
