In the Morning Light
Normally I’m an early riser (5:30am sharp) however as time progresses over the summer at the cottage I find it much more difficult painful to crawl out of bed early. Of course much of this is in direct relation with the time one retires to bed, age and how much aqua vitae was consumed the night before. Occasionally I do make it out on the lake to partake in the magic hour and it rarely disappoints. Please click on the image for super size 1600p shot.

beautiful!
LOVE YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY……COME HERE OFTEN TO BE INSPIRED BY YOUR GREAT GIFT OF PHOTOGRAPHY…..YOU SHOW THAT MUSKOKA IS REALLY HEAVEN ON EARTH….THANKS SO VERY MUCH…..AND BLESSINGS ON YOU AND YOURS…LINDA
I came here from Jenn Jilks’ blog. I read that you take your photos in HDR. I have never heard the term, so now there is something for me to search on Google. My husband gave me a Photoshop Element program but it is not installed on my computer yet – maybe it will be in there. In any case your photos are stunning.
Exalent shot Ed, i’m finding it harder and harder to distinguish old boathouses from new ones like on this one. some of the architects and builders in the area do a great job in mimicking the old Muskoka look and feel that everyone just loves. And i was in Muskoka all week and managed to get some boathouse pictures from land, i’ll try to post a couple on the photography website i use for all to see. thanks for posting.
