Antique hunting in the town of Rosseau, (Muskoka) Ontario, Canada
At the north end of Lake Rosseau you will find the Town of Rosseau which is situated on Hwy 141. There is a great general store and a few other shops and galleries including this interesting antique shop. Don’t forget to stop here for ice cream as its one of the best places in all of Muskoka. While I was taking some pictures an incognito gentleman walking his dog sauntered by. Good to see you Ed Grimley.

Great photo! We seem to gets close to meeting a lot! I was there in that building on July 3rd….! LOL!
G’day:
Do you have a flower shop in Rousseau? If not, where would be the closest coming in from the south.
Thanks.
I live in Bracebridge and I have several antiques that I have acquired through gifts from others. I don’t have room for them anymore and I’ve modernized my place and they just don’t fit in anymore. I’m wondering if you have someone who appraises and purchases antiques.
Barbara – I think its best to visit a few antique shops in the area and get a valuation. From what I understand by talking to people, antiques are at a low right now. People are not collecting or enjoying as much as they were before. best of luck
Hello;
I was wondering if you would be interested in old bottles. We have cleaned out an old dump on my sisters property and have nearly 100 bottles washed and ready for sale.
Pauline – you may try a bunch of the antique stores around Muskoka. I’m sure they would welcome them
Ed, are you open this Sunday or Monday?
Hi Becky, I don’t have any store. My Blog is open 24/7 however 🙂
I am looking for 2 large pitchers with or without basin. Do you have any in your store. I was unable to find a phone number for your store and it was closed yesterday(Sunday) when we were in Rosseau. Thank you.
