The Quiet Hills of Mount St. Louis

I was surprised to see that there was still some snow on the ski hills of Mount St. Louis. For those of you that travel up the highway #400 route to cottage country this will be a familiar view compared to the road side distractions of highway #11. As they say – there are only two seasons in Canada. Winter Summer and Hockey.

Right around the corner from my house…you did a great job capturing the place. I never realized just how big those trees out front have grown until just now, when I realized you can barely see the chalet anymore.

    No, no, no!
Three season: bugs, snow, construction, not mutually exclusive!!!
Another beautiful shot, Ed. A bit chilly today. The young cat didn’t want out. Wind is wicked. The lake tempers our temperature, we went down to zero, but the airport weather station said we we -3!
It does keep down the blackflies…makes gardening a challenge. I walked 1 1/2 hours on #38 yesterday. They weren’t bad in the wind, but in the road cuts drove me nuts.
