Sugarbush Bay from the Roadside

If you are a visitor and are driving around the Muskoka area its very difficult to see the cottages and boathouses (Eye Candy on the Lakes) that populate the shorelines. It’s much easier when you are out in a boat. Many of the grand ole Muskoka cottages are very private and you cannot see them from the road. However, there are some roads you can venture down and get a glimpse of things like this photo taken from Scarcliff Road off Hwy #118 between Port Carling and Milford Bay. This is Sugarbush Bay on Lake Muskoka. Google satellite map HERE

In: boathouses of muskoka, in and around muskoka ontario, on the water

    Beautiful shot…such dark clouds!
Ed…just curious…what is so red in the photo on the far left?

    Cheers

  2. Ed Boutilier says:

Hi Heather, You have good eyes. That was a flaw in my post production when I merged the photos together. Fixed now. Guess I should not be in such a hurry next time 🙂 – thanks!

I didn’t know that it was called that!!!

  4. Heather says:

lol…sorry Ed…didn’t mean to point out a “flaw”…didn’t appear to be one I just couldn’t figure out what it would be?

    Cheers

  5. Oh man, you fixed the flaw? (there I am searching for a red thing…) I do not believe that Ed Boutilier can possibly have flaws in his photos!
